About the Author
Deidre S. Powell is a lawyer, mediator, and author based in Regina, Saskatchewan. With a rich background in writing, she has authored the book 'Tell Me a Story, Grandma,' which beautifully combines themes from Bible stories and poetry. Her work has appeared in Grain magazine (Spring 2026, Vol. 53.3) and she writes a weekly immigration column for the Jamaica Gleaner.
